The HBL PSL Drafts 2020 was recently held by the Pakistan Cricket Board where we saw some major changes to the squads of all teams, especially the defending champions, Quetta Gladiators. In this article, we are also going to bring you the names of all teams that are going to compete in this year’s PSL tournament.

As far as the schedule of HBL PSL 5 2020 is concerned, it is not out yet. Again, many websites are posting our wrong information and republishing the schedule of HBL PSL 4 which is misleading the users. Stay tuned to our website and as soon as the schedule of the tournament will release, we will bring it to you.

PSL 2020 Start Date:

As far as the PSL 5 start date is concerned, the tournament will be played from 20th February to 22nd March 2020. Other sources might be telling you that the tournament will start from the 14th of February that is not true and they are only keeping you hooked with the old PSL 4 date.

PSL 2020 Teams:

The same franchises from PSL 2019 are introducing their teams into the tournament and there has not been an addition of a new team that was speculated recently. Let us now bring you the complete list of PSL 2020 teams that are going to compete in this year’s tournament:

• Quetta Gladiators (Defending Champions)
• Islamabad United
• Lahore QALANDARS
• Multan Sultans
• Peshawar ZALMI
• Karachi Kings

So these 6 teams will be a part of HBL PSL 5.

Will HBL PSL 5 be conducted in Pakistan?

The Government of Pakistan and Pakistan Cricket Board have shown their major interest in organizing the full event for the first time in their homeland. However, it is not confirmed yet whether the tournament will be played in Dubai or Pakistan and as soon as we will get any concrete information, we are going to update you guys.

HBL PSL 2020 Venues:

If the tournament is to be held in Pakistan, the following is the list of venues where the matches will be played:

• National Stadium, Karachi (Capacity: 34,228)
• Gaddafi Cricket Stadium, Lahore (Capacity: 27,000)
• Multan Cricket Stadium (Capacity: 35,000)
• Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium (Capacity: 28,000)

However, if they fail to organize the event in Pakistan and it gets played in UAE, the following are the venues where tickets can be booked:

• Sharjah Cricket Stadium
• Sheikh Zaid Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi
• International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
