Shahid Afridi Icon Player of Euro T20 Slam

It is great news for Pakistani fans that Shahid Afridi will also play as Icon Player this year in Euro T20 Slam. Shahid Afridi also is known as BOOM BOOM AFRIDI is ready to join the Euro T20 Slam league. He is named as an Icon Player of the tournament.

The tournament is going to start on August 30 and will last till the 22 September, and Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands going to host the league. Euro T20 Slam going to have Six Icon Players. Shahid Afridi was named fourth Icon Player after, Shane Watson, Brendon McCullum, and Rashid Khan. Two of the remaining Icon Players will be announced later some date.

“I have enjoyed my early days in cricket playing in Leicestershire, Derbyshire, and Kent. I am expecting similar kind of surfaces and weather in Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands. It is the part of the world where we won our only World T20 title. I am really excited to go out there and entertain the fans,” Afridi said.
